Our DMCA Response Process

When we receive a valid DMCA notice, we follow this process:

2. Investigate the alleged infringement and verify the claim within 24-48 hours
3. Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content if the claim is valid
4. Notify the affected user of the takedown action and provide copy of the DMCA notice

Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe your content was removed in error or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. We will review counter-notifications and may restore content if the original complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days. Your counter-notification must include:

• Your physical or electronic signature
• Identification of the material removed and its previous location
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
• Your consent to jurisdiction of federal court in your district
• Your complete contact information

Repeat Infringer Policy

OnlySonar maintains a policy of terminating users who are repeat copyright infringers. We track DMCA violations and may suspend or permanently ban users with multiple valid complaints. This policy helps protect copyright holders while ensuring our platform remains compliant with copyright law.
